Privacy Policy
Digest Helper is in private beta. This policy explains the data we collect for the public site, waitlist, newsletter launch workflows, and provider handoffs.
What we collect
The public waitlist collects your email address for beta review. Digest Helper stores a normalized email hash and, when the application encryption key is configured, an encrypted email value. We do not store plaintext waitlist email addresses in application tables.
We may store source URL, UTM parameters, marketing-consent state, policy versions, and hashed request metadata such as IP address and user agent to support consent, abuse prevention, attribution, and launch-readiness review.
Providers
Digest Helper uses Supabase for application data and Vercel for hosting and performance telemetry. Public waitlist capture writes to Digest Helper-owned Supabase records before any downstream provider is treated as a source of truth.
Newsletter operations may use Beehiiv for email sending, Stripe for payments, Meta for read-only or manually connected advertising evidence, and affiliate or recommendation partners where approved. Those providers receive only the data needed for the reviewed workflow.
Analytics
Digest Helper first-party records are the canonical analytics source for launch and monetization decisions. Vercel Speed Insights may collect performance data. Additional analytics, pixels, remarketing, or session tools require a reviewed privacy update before use.
Browser-visible analytics should not receive plaintext emails, encrypted email values, service-role keys, provider tokens, payment secrets, or unsafe internal identifiers.
Affiliates
Digest Helper and related publication workflows may include affiliate links, referral links, sponsorships, paid recommendations, or partner offers. We may store offer, click, approval, disclosure, and payout evidence in Digest Helper records.
Subscriber-facing affiliate or paid recommendation placements require review, disclosure, and program permission before use.
Requests
You can request access, correction, deletion, or suppression review by contacting us through the contact page. Deletion requests are handled around email hash, encrypted email, provider IDs, and downstream provider state where applicable.
Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe through the unsubscribe link in the email service used for that publication. Digest Helper may retain limited hash or suppression evidence where needed for audit, safety, or unsubscribe handling.
Disclaimers
Digest Helper and its related publications provide educational and operational information. They are not accounting, tax, legal, financial, investment, security, compliance, or infrastructure advice.
This policy is an operating baseline for P0 launch readiness and may be refined before live traffic, additional analytics, partner integrations, or self-serve product availability.
